October 6th, 2017 - More than a hundred attendees joined us for our Local and Beyond Forum and Colorado Companies to Watch Celebration Dinner. It was a memorable evening!
In planning our award event, we realized that we wanted to celebrate with other local businesses creating jobs, energizing our community and attracting visitors to the North Fork Valley. Thus “Local and Beyond” was born. The purpose of the forum was to bring together businesses with a reach outside our valley to share stories and celebrate successes. State, regional and local small business advocates also joined us. One reason ShadeScapes was chosen as a 2017 Colorado Company to Watch was the surprise element of an international business headquartered in small town Colorado. We are honored and excited to have been chosen as a model company for rural Colorado and want to encourage other entrepreneurial ventures to make the North Fork Valley their home.
